Winner of the 2023 Sites senior student essay competition

The Sites Editorial Board is delighted to announce the winner of the 2023 Sites Senior Student Essay Competition.  This year’s winner is Revena Correll Trnka, who recently completed a Masters in Anthropology at Te Herenga Waka / Victoria University of Wellington.  The title of the essay is “Dressed to Kill: Viewers’ Relationships with Representations of Violent Hyper-Femininity in Contemporary Queer Horror." The essay will be published in the June 2023 issue of Sites, due soon.
